§ 10-31. Rights of private property owners; shooting across property line prohibited.

  • (a)

    Nothing in this article is intended to limit the rights of private property owners to hunt on their own property or to consent to allowing others to hunt on said private property.

    (b)

    However, pursuant to V.T.C.A., Parks and Wildlife Code § 62.0121(b), a person commits an offense if:

    (1)

    The person, while hunting or engaging in recreational shooting, knowingly discharges a firearm; and

    (2)

    The projectile from the firearm travels across a property line.
